I'm surprised at how much I liked the first couple movies considering how badly Storm was butchered. She's my favourite comic book character (OF ALL TIME) but as far as I'm concerned, she's never been in the movies.

Cube is gross—it's a horror flick, but it's not a Hostel type—it's "kidnapped and forced into a game where the only rule is stay alive" (or some other cheese—I made that up, don't hold it against an innovative lowbudget (you've heard of bottle episode? This is bottle movie) creepy scary flick.
What are your tastes? What was wrong with Grosse Point Blank/Memento/Juno/Sweet Sweetback/Boy's Don't Cry/Ghost Dog/Reservoir Dogs/Cube/Usual Suspects?
I'd say there's more variety in independent films because they aren't bankrolled in the same way and aren't beholden to the majority in the same way the next Tom Cruise/Will Smith buddy movie.
Don't mind the nice people in the uniforms knocking at your door, now.
